ED summons to Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri & Tej Pratap in money laundering probe
In the money laundering case related to land for job, the troubles of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav and his family seem to be increasing once again. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to Lalu Prasad Yadav of Bihar and some of his family members. In this summons, Lalu and his family members have been called for questioning.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi and Tej Pratap Yadav for questioning in the 'Land for Job' scam. This scam took place during 2004-2009 when Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister. Lalu Yadav and his family are accused of misusing their position and selling jobs in the railways.
ED summons to Lalu Yadav and his family
In this summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Lalu's son Tej Pratap and wife Rabri Devi have been called for questioning today i.e. Tuesday, while Lalu has been called for questioning tomorrow at the zonal office in Patna.
This case is related to the alleged land for job scam, in which there are allegations of money laundering.
Lalu Yadav family called for questioning today by ED
In such a situation, it has to be seen whether Lalu Yadav appears after the ED summons or not. Recently, son Tej Pratap and daughter got bail from the court. During the same time, the court had given Lalu the exemption of not appearing. The reason behind this summons is that ED wants to question in this case. This is the reason why first Lalu and then his family have been called.
