Encounter breaks out in Kupwara, between security forces and terrorists
Kupwara Encounter: The Security forces had launched a search operation on the information of terrorists hiding in Khurmora Rajwar area adjacent to the Line of Control under District Kupwara of North Kashmir. During this operation, the security forces encountered the terrorists.
According to the report, after receiving information about the presence of terrorists, the security forces cordoned off the area and conducted a search operation.
One soldier of the security forces injured
During this operation, a brief encounter also took place between the security forces and the terrorists, but the terrorists managed to escape by breaking the cordon. The operation of the security forces is ongoing to catch the escaped terrorists. One security personnel is reported injured in the encounter, other details awaited.

Fifth encounter in 7 days
According to the latest information, SOG Handwara launched a search operation on information of terrorists in village Krumhura Jachaldara Rajwar Handwara of Kupwara district. According to this, this is the fifth encounter in North Kashmir in the last 7 days. Earlier, encounters have taken place in Bandipora, Kupwara and Sopore.
Terror incidents increased in the valley
According to security officials, there has been an increase in terrorist activities in the Jammu region for some time, including deadly attacks in the twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch. This year terrorist activities spread to six other districts of the region. Large-scale action by security forces continues in Jammu and Kashmir.
