Fast and furious action …18 children in school van, driver saved lives by driving van in reverse gear
Incident happened in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday morning. Four miscreants fired on the van of SRS International School. Hearing the sound of bullets, the children got scared and started crying.
Seeing the firing and stone pelting, the driver also got scared at first, but acting with courage, he took the vehicle to the school amidst the firing and stone pelting and the lives of the children were saved.
Firing incident on school van

If the bullet had pierced the van and gone inside, then something untoward could have happened. At the same time, the driver gave full information about the incident during police interrogation.

Everyone is praising this bravery of driver Monty. From the school administration to the children's parents, everyone is praising his brave act. Giving information about the entire incident, the driver said that he drives the van of SRS International School located in Gajraula police station area.
Like every day, on Friday morning also he was coming to school with 18 children in the van. Four youths were standing near a culvert on the way.
Blocked the way by stones
Meanwhile van driver said that one youth was sitting on the bike, while three were collecting stones near the culvert. When he asked them to remove the stones and clear the way, the youths got angry and the youth sitting on the bike took out a gun. Also, other youths picked up stones. Before he could understand anything, the youths started throwing stones on his van. Since there was a stone on the culvert, there was no way to go ahead.
Children got scared after hearing the sound of bullets
Although Monty said that he drove the vehicle in reverse gear. During this, the accused youths opened fire, which hit his van. The driver said that the miscreants had fired two rounds.

Amroha SP informed about the incident
While giving information about the incident, Amroha SP Kunwar Anupam Singh said that three days ago the driver had a dispute with the accused. On the way, the school van collided with a scooter. There was a compromise between both the parties on the spot, but then the young man riding the scooter along with his friends made a plan to attack the driver today.
Due to this, the school van was attacked near a culvert. The SP said that a case has been registered against the accused on the complaint of the driver and he has been taken into custody and is being questioned.
