FIR Filed Following Demise of Five Individuals in the Collapse of an Aged Structure Close to Banke Bihari Temple in Mathura
Mathura (Uttar Pradesh), 17 August: The Mathura-Vrindavan Municipality has filed a case in relation to the incident in which five persons perished after a building collapsed close to the Banke Bihari temple in Vrindavan, the official said.
Anunaya Jha, Municipal Commissioner of Mathura-Vrindavan Municipality, spoke about the case's evolution and revealed that almost 60 abandoned homes have also received notices to be repaired.
Five individuals died in Vrindavan after a run-down house collapsed on them, and Mathura-Vrindavan Municipality has filed a police report at the Mathura Police Station regarding this incident.
Nearly 60 abandoned homes have also received notices to be repaired, and a survey of structures and homes in poor condition that could collapse will also be created, Jha added to the media.
In a tragic occurrence that occurred on Tuesday, a building fell next to the Banke Bihari shrine in Vrindavan, Mathura, killing five people and injuring four more. The distance between the old building and the well-known temple, which draws countless devotees each year, was only about 200 meters.
The building's wall collapsed as rescue efforts were being made for individuals trapped beneath the debris after a large portion of a balcony fell on devotees passing by the house.
