Fire broke out on January 19 as well
On January 19, another fire incident took place in Sector 19 of Mahakumbh fair, when the straw kept in a camp caught fire. About 18 camps were burnt to ashes in this incident. Flames of fire were seen rising up to 5 kilometers away. Here the devotees were cooking food in their tents. During this time, a cylinder blast occurred, and a fire broke out.
The fire spread rapidly. More than 2 dozen tents were burnt to ashes due to the fire. Due to the wind, the fire spread from Sector 19 to 20. This fire broke out around 4 pm.
