Firing at Minnesota Catholic School in America, many people feared injured
Minneapolis School Firing: A painful incident of shooting has come to light at the Annunciation Catholic School located in Minneapolis city of Minnesota state of America, in which many people are feared to be casualties. The incident took place at the beginning of the school session, when students and teachers were present in the classrooms. After the incident, an atmosphere of panic has spread in the entire area.

Governor expressed condolences
Soon after getting information about the shooting, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz tweeted, "I have been informed about the shooting at the Annunciation Catholic School. As we get more information, I will keep sharing updates." He further wrote, "I am praying for the children and teachers whose first week of school has been affected by this horrific violence." Governor Walz also confirmed that the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) and State Patrol teams have reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
Preliminary investigation
The incident happened when regular classes were going on in the school. As soon as the sounds of gunfire were heard, the school was immediately put on lockdown. Eyewitnesses said that the students were kept safe inside the classrooms and the administration had informed the parents. The police surrounded the school premises and started investigation and search operations to catch the suspect.
Many injured, some in critical condition
According to local media reports, several injured persons from the spot have been admitted to nearby hospitals. Although no death has been officially confirmed yet, the condition of some is said to be critical.
