First time voting took place without the shadow of terrorism, Valley will get statehood back, PM Modi promises in Srinagar

J&K Election: While addressing a rally in Srinagar the Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, the aim of all of us is the rapid progress of Jammu and Kashmir. He also said that, today I have come among you with the message of raising the spirit of development in Valley.  I see that today my brothers and sisters of Kashmir are calling me a flatterer PM.

Voting for 24 seats in first phase election was held on Wednesday 

About 61.3 percent voting took place on these seats, which is the highest voting in the last seven elections. Now all the political parties have started preparations for the second phase. In this sequence, today on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir and sought votes for the party candidates. He said that, for the first time in Kashmir, voting has taken place without the shadow of terrorism.

While addressing the huge crowd at the Srinagar PM Modi thanked the people for the bumper voting. In the meanwhile PM, hit back at Rahul Gandhi's 'Mohabbat ki Dukaan' and said, "These people have opened shops of hatred. Schools kept burning, youth remained deprived of education and stones were given to them."On the contrary today the enthusiasm of the youth, is clearly visible ... this is the new Kashmir.

The PM said that the festival of democracy is going on in Jammu and Kashmir. For the first time, voting has taken place in the state without the shadow of terrorism. It is a matter of happiness and pride for all of us that such a large number of people came out of their homes to vote. More than 80 percent voting in Kishtwar, more than 71 percent voting in Doda. This new history has been created.

3 families responsible for the destruction - PM Modi

PM Modi said that, three families ruined Kashmir, and now they are upset t They feel that it is their birthright to capture the chair by any means and loot the people of Valley. Keeping the people of Jammu and Kashmir away from their legitimate rights has been their political agenda. They have given only fear and anarchy to Jammu Kashmir.

Will provide employment and opportunities to youth

PM Modi said that it is Modi's promise to free Jammu Kashmir from terror, to defeat the conspirators, to provide employment opportunities to the youth here. I will not let one more generation of ours get destroyed at the hands of these three families. I am engaged with full honesty to restore peace here.
