Flowers raining from the sky and the tricolor fluttering...'Operation Sindoor' flag on Mi-17 helicopter
79th Independence Day is being celebrated across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the country from the ramparts of the Red Fort. Earlier, PM Modi hoisted the flag and during this time two Mi-17 helicopters of the Indian Air Force were seen showering flowers in the sky.
Air force helicopter waved the tricolor, while the other kept raining flowers carrying the banner of Operation Sindoor.
The Prime Minister said that today 140 crore countrymen are painted in the color of the tricolor. Be it the desert or the peaks of the Himalayas, the seashore or the crowded areas - everywhere one voice is echoing, Jai Gan of the Motherland.
'Removal of Article 370 is a true tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee'
He said that the festival of independence is a festival of determination and unity. The Constitution is showing us the way by for the nation. Referring to the natural disasters that recently hit the mountains, the Prime Minister said that the Center and the state are running relief and rescue operations together.

He said that the decision to demolish the wall of Article 370 from the Red Fort was a true tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. PM Modi also mentioned Operation Sindoor, which was launched to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack.
'We are not going to tolerate nuclear threats'
While saluting the brave soldiers, he said that the terrorists who came from across the border in Pahalgam killed innocent people by asking their religion, killed the husband in front of the wife and the father in front of the children.
