Future is not in war, but in Buddha… PM Modi said in Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha on Thursday. During this, he was welcomed by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Odisha CM Mohan Charan Manjhi. The chief guest of the program, President of Trinidad and Tobago Christine Carla Kangalu addressed the conference virtually.

Representatives from 70 countries have participated in this conference. Addressing, PM Modi said that the future is not in war, but in Buddha. PM Modi flagged off a special tourist train for Indian migrants on Thursday.

While addressing, PM Modi said that when there was a period of increasing empire on the strength of the sword in the world. Then our emperor Ashoka had chosen the path of peace here. This is the same strength of our heritage, due to which India is able to tell the world today that the future is not in war, but in Buddha.

Though representatives from 70 countries have been participated in this program. This conference is going to run till January 10, which will be concluded by President Draupadi Murmu. Meanwhile the PM flagged off a special tourist train for Indian expatriates on Thursday. The train, which started from Delhi's Nizamuddin railway station, will go to many tourist places for three weeks.

Whole world is watching India's success today - PM

While addressing, PM Modi said that the whole world is watching India's success today. When Chandrayaan reaches Shiv Shakti Point, we all feel proud. Today, when the world is surprised to see the power of Digital India, we all feel proud. Now every sector of India is moving forward to touch the sky.

PM Modi said that today we are celebrating India, Indianness, culture and development here. The land you are on is also a reflection of India's rich heritage.

Wherever Indians go, they connect with the society - PM

PM Modi said that in the last 10 years, I met many world leaders. Every leader of the world praises the NRIs in their country. This is because of the social value that you add to their society. He said that we are not only the mother of democracy, but we are also a part of democracy. We do not teach diversity; our life runs on diversity. Therefore, wherever Indians go, they connect with the society there.

Made in India fighter jet India - Modi

PM Modi said that India is making Made in India fighter jets. The day is not far when you (NRIs) will come to celebrate Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in a Made in India plane.
