Gautam Gambhir receives death threat: India's head coach Gautam Gambhir has received death threat from 'ISIS Kashmir' after the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Gambhir contacted the police in this matter and lodged an official complaint for the safety of his family.

Last Tuesday, terrorists attacked tourists in Pahalgam, in which 26 people lost their lives.

Yesterday, Gautam Gambhir lodged a complaint with Delhi Police and demanded immediate action. In response to this worrying atmosphere, Gambhir formally requested SHO Rajendra Nagar Police Station and DCP Central Delhi to register an FIR. He asked to take necessary steps to ensure the security of his family. The police have started investigating the matter.

Efforts are being made to identify the person who sent the threatening mail to Gambhir. The cyber team of the police is trying to track the mail.

Emails received on the day of the terrorist attack

Gambhir allegedly received two threatening mails. One mail came in the afternoon and the other in the evening and both had I Kill U written in them. This is not the first time Gambhir has faced such threats. Earlier also he received a similar email during his tenure as an MP in November 2021.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Gambhir shared a post on social media and condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. In Pahalgam, terrorists opened fire on tourists in Baisaran Maidan. This is the biggest terrorist attack after the Pulwama terror attack of 2019.
