Noida News: Mrs. Laxmi Singh, Police Commissioner of the Noida Police Commissionerate (Gautam Buddha Nagar), has launched a new initiative. She believes this move will enable more effective control of crime and criminals throughout the Gautam Buddha Nagar Commissionerate, which encompasses Noida and Greater Noida.
Police Stations to be Delimited
Noida Police Commissioner, Mrs. Laxmi Singh, has decided to re-delimit police stations throughout the Commissionerate. A committee of Noida Police Commissionerate officials is being formed for this purpose. There are a total of 26 police stations in the Noida Commissionerate. A plan has been developed to re-demarcate the boundaries of all police stations. Including Noida and Greater Noida, the entire Noida Police Commissionerate (Gautam Buddha Nagar) spans an area of 1,442 square kilometers. The Commissionerate's population has exceeded 5 million.
Due to rapid development, the population is increasing rapidly. Keeping these factors in mind, a decision has been made to redraw all 26 areas of the Noida Commissionerate. A proposal to open a dozen new police stations within the Noida Commissionerate has been sent to the Uttar Pradesh government.
Bisrakh Police Station is the oldest
There are a total of 26 police stations within the Noida Police Commissionerate. Bisrakh Police Station in the Greater Noida area is the oldest of these. Bisrakh Police Station was established by the British before India's independence. After India's independence, on August 15, 1947, Ramchandra Vikal, a prominent leader from the Greater Noida Dadri region, hoisted the national flag for the first time on the Bisrakh Police Station building.
