According to the prosecution, a horrific incident of rape and murder of a 7-year-old girl came to light on October 28, 2019, in the Khambhat Rural Police Station area of ​​Anand district. Investigation revealed that the 24-year-old accused Dado alias Arjun Ambalal Gohel had taken the girl with him by luring her with biscuits during the Gujarati New Year.

In this case, the police had filed a chargesheet against the accused within one and a half months.
