Goa Fire Tragedy: A fire broke out at the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Goa on the night of December 6. 25 people lost their lives in the fire. Police have so far arrested six people in connection with the case. They have also demolished another property belonging to Romeo Lane with a bulldozer. The administration and the government are continuously taking action against the club owners. In this regard, preparations are being made to cancel the passports of the club owners. Currently, the government has suspended the passports of Saurabh and Gaurav.

In the Goa nightclub fire case, the Ministry of External Affairs is preparing to cancel the passports of club owners Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra. The Goa government has sent a letter to the Ministry of External Affairs regarding the cancellation of the passports. The ministry is examining the request to cancel their passports under the Indian Passport Act, according to the rules. As an initial action, the government has suspended the passports.
New revelations are emerging every day in the nightclub fire case. Now, the investigation has revealed that the club owners started preparing to leave the country shortly after the fire. Club owners Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra booked tickets to Phuket around 1 AM on December 7.
Is there another real owner of the club?
On Wednesday, a Delhi court refused to grant them any interim protection from arrest, while their partner had already been arrested in connection with the fire incident. In court, Luthra's lawyer denied the allegations that he had fled and claimed the trip was for a business meeting. He also argued that the brothers are merely licensees, not the actual owners of the nightclub.

Six people arrested so far
Police have arrested six people so far in the Goa nightclub case. One of them is a partner in the club. The accused has been identified as Ajay Gupta, a resident of Delhi. After being produced in court, Ajay was sent on a 36-hour transit remand.
