Graap-3 again implemented in Delhi, know what restrictions will be imposed

Graap-3 Again: Air pollution level has increased in Delhi NCR amid severe cold. In view of the increase in pollution level, once again the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has imposed Graap 3 restrictions in Delhi NCR after an emergency meeting. With the imposition of Graap 3 restrictions, 9 point restrictions have been implemented with immediate effect.

Since Thursday morning, the air quality level in Delhi and surrounding areas was recorded in the poor to very poor category, after which CAQM called an emergency meeting and imposed these restrictions.

CAQM has once again imposed Graap 3

With the increase in cold, there is an increase in air pollution. After the decline in air quality, GRAP-3 has been implemented again in Delhi-NCR. GRAP-3 is implemented when the Air Quality Index i.e. AQI is more than 350. The air quality of the national capital declined on Thursday. After this, the Air Quality Management Commission implemented GRAP-3 restrictions.

Temperature dropped in Delhi due to cold

A huge drop in temperature was recorded in Delhi on Thursday. Due to cold wave, the weather condition in Delhi remains bad. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Delhi was recorded at 6.4 degrees Celsius at 5.30 am on Thursday. While the mercury is expected to go down during the day as well.

It is extremely cold. The IMD had predicted dense fog in the city on Thursday. Contrary to this, scenes were seen from various parts of the city. As the cold is intensifying in Delhi, people are taking shelter in night shelters.

Due to increasing air pollution in Delhi NCR

CAQM has once again imposed Graap 3 restrictions. During this time, orders have been given to run schools up to class 5 on hybrid mode along with other necessary restrictions. After the imposition of Graap 3 restrictions in Delhi NCR, all types of construction work have been banned. Projects related to essential services like hospitals, railways, metro, airports, national security etc. have been exempted from these restrictions. However, vehicles carrying construction material, stone crusher machines, mining and related activities have been completely banned.

Ban on BS 3 and BS 4

BS 3 and BS 4 petrol vehicles have been banned in Delhi NCR, although Divyangjan can use such vehicles according to their need. At the same time, BS 4 diesel vehicles will be completely banned from entering Delhi. CAQM has ordered all the concerned agencies in Delhi NCR to implement these restrictions and take action against those who are not following them.

Schools up to 5th standard on hybrid mode

It will be necessary to run all schools up to class 5 in Delhi, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Gurugram, Ghaziabad on hybrid mode. In such a situation, parents and children can choose the option of online or offline classes.

The restrictions imposed this time under GRAP 3 also include the provisions that were mentioned in the Supreme Court's order of December 13. There will be a complete ban on the operation of MGVs with diesel engines of BS 4 or less standard in Delhi NCR.
