Seeing the air quality deteriorating in this way, CAQM (Commission of Air Quality Management) has once again implemented Grap-4 in the entire Delhi NCR.

With this, all the restrictions of Grap Four have also come into force in Delhi NCR. Under this arrangement, the entry of diesel vehicles has once again been stopped in Delhi. Construction activities have also been completely banned.

In the same sequence, orders have been issued to suspend classes from sixth to ninth in schools in Delhi and adjoining Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram and Faridabad and conduct online studies and 11th studies on hybrid mode. At the same time, 50 percent of the employees in all government and non-government offices have been asked to work from home. According to the report, Delhi NCR was hit by smog on Tuesday night itself.

At the same time, when the situation was monitored at around four o'clock on Wednesday evening, it was found that the AQI had crossed the figure of 450. CAQM has placed it in the very poor category. Earlier on Monday itself, GRAP-3 restrictions were imposed in Delhi NCR.

These restrictions have been implemented

Schools will remain closed. Classes will run on hybrid mode and online mode.

Construction work will remain closed.

All types of digging work including boring and sealing will not be done.

Work related to welding and gas cutting will also be banned.

Cement, plaster and coating work will also be banned.

Only 50 percent of people will work in offices. The rest have been advised to work from home.

Except for vehicles carrying essential goods, CNG, electric trucks, entry of other heavy vehicles will be banned in Delhi.

Movement of BS-3 petrol and BS-4 diesel vehicles will also be banned.

Know the rule

Air quality has been divided into four stages based on the health of the common man. GRAP-1 is implemented when AQI is between 201 to 300 (poor category). If the score is between 301 to 400 (very bad), then GRAP-2 is applicable, if the score is between 401 to 450 (serious), then GRAP-3 is applicable and if the score is more than 450 (very serious), then GRAP-4 is applicable.
