<p>Recently a great decision is being taken by the Uttar Pradesh government, Now pregnant women will get a free ultrasound tests. This is basically a public and private sector partnership which is being promoted by the state government where the ultrasound facilities are not available for the regular checkups of pregnant women.Here women would also get the facility of breakfast prior the test, so that the women can have an healthy diet .The breakfast facility is majorly introduced inorder to make sure that woman don’t come to the doctor without having proper meal and empty stomach. While announcing the scheme deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak said, “Ultrasound facility will start under public-private-partnership mode at health centres lacking ultrasound facility. Now all the pregnant women visiting the health care centers across the state would recived free breakfast and free ultrasound facilities as their regular checkup of their baby. This scheme is being introduced under Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Mantrivta Abiyaan. PMSMA is nothing but a scheme which offers regular good quality health checkups to the pregnant women across the state.
Pathak said, “Ultrasound facility will start under public-private-partnership mode at health centers lacking ultrasound facility. The pregnant women will also get breakfast to ensure they do not remain hungry while waiting to see doctor or for the ultrasound.” Further talking about this Dr Amita Shukla, senior gynecologists’, SC Trivedi Memorial Trust Hospital said , “Women commonly have a habit of not eating well particularly while going out as they fail to assess how long it can take to return back. If breakfast is served at health center, it will ensure their nutritional needs are met for the day, when they come for check-up.”
A great decision is being take by the UP’s State government inorder to ensure a better health ofmother and their children, looking at their negligence over their health during these days.
