GST 2.0: The government has given a pre-Diwali gift to the common man of the country. Big decisions have been taken in the 56th meeting of the GST Council held in New Delhi on Wednesday. Under this rate of tax on all goods will be reduced. The new rates will be applicable from September 22, 2025. Under the new GST reform, the prices of more than 100 things are going to decrease. In this, the tax rate has been reduced on essential items, everyday things, agricultural products and health products.

Which thing of your use has come in which slab, here is the complete list of the products that will become cheaper and expensive.

Waxes, vegetable waxes 18% to 5%

Meat, fish, food products 12% to 5%

Dairy products (butter, ghee, cheese, condensed/cottage cheese) 12% to 5%

Soya milk 12% to 5%

Sugar, boiled sweets 12%-18% to 5%

Chocolate and cocoa powder 18% to 5%

Pasta, corn flakes, noodles, biscuits, malt extract (non-cocoa) 12%-18% to 5%

Jams, jellies, marmalades, nuts/fruit pastes, dried fruits, nuts 12% to 5%

Fruit juices, coconut water 12% to 5%
