Bhupendra Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat, was born on July 15, 1962
. In the 2022 assembly elections, the BJP, under his direction, won an
overwhelming victory, making it the seventh time in a row that the party held
control in its stronghold. Patel received, one
lakh 92 thousand more votes than any other candidate.

The name “Ajatshatru” is given to Bhupendrabhai Patel because
of his humble and friendly nature. Dada is another affectionate nickname for
him.
He identifies as a Patidar. After earning a Diploma in Civil Engineering
from Government Polytechnic Ahmedabad, he also worked as a builder.
Bhupendra Patel’s father’s name is Rajinikanth and mother’s name is
Hetal Patel. His brother’s name is Ketan Patel. Bhupendra Patel’s
son’s name is Anuj Patel and
daughter-in-law’s name is Devanshi.
The 1995 municipal election was the beginning of Bhupendra Patel’s
political career. In 1999, he was elected president of the Memnagar
Municipality. He then served as Vice President of Ahmedabad Municipal
Corporation from 2008 to 2010. In addition, he served as the chairman of the
Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority between 2015 and 2017. His reputation is
that of a competent administrator. Additionally, he is affiliated with numerous
social organisations.

2017 marked a turning point in Bhupendra Patel’s political career. This
year, he competed for the seat of former Chief Minister Anandiben Patel in
Ghatlodia, where he received 1,17,000
votes and was elected MLA for the first time.
On September 13, 2021, Bhupendra Patel was first voted as the Chief
Minister of Gujarat. Previously, the state’s chief executive was Vijay Rupani.
After Rupani’s resignation on 11 September 2021, Patel was elected the leader
of the Legislature Party at a meeting convened in Gandhinagar on 12 September
2021. The next day, on September 13, he took his oath as the
Chief Minister.
The BJP won an unprecedented 156 of Gujarat’s 182 assembly seats in
2022. The result was the party’s seventh consecutive formation of the state’s
governing body. On 12 December 2022, Bhupendra Patel took pledge for a second
term as Chief Minister of Gujarat.

On the occasion of his birthday, Bhupendra Patel, the chief minister of
Gujarat, visited the Adalaj temple. The Prime Minister took blessings by Dada
Bhagwan. The Chief Minister then tweeted that Sri Simandhar Swami, the current
Tirthankara at Adalaj Tritemple, had begun his birthday rituals by praying to
the Lord and other deities.
The Chief Minister wrote that he had prayed at the
feet of God that each of us would be healthy, that God’s blessings would remain
on Gujarat eternally, and that the state would continue on the path to
development. Born on 15 July 1962, Bhupendra Patel became the second Chief
Minister of Gujarat after the BJP won an overwhelming victory in last year’s
state assembly elections.
