Haryana: Tragic road accident in Fatehabad car falls in canal, 10 people missing

Haryana: Dense fog suddenly covered eight districts of Haryana late at night. Due to which a road accident occurred in Fatehabad. Here, due to fog, the cruiser car fell into the canal. In the accident, 12 people in the cruiser went missing. Out of which the body of an elderly person has been taken out so far. At the same time, a 10-year-old child has been rescued safely.

Divers and administrative teams were engaged in the search throughout the night. This accident happened near Sardare Wala village Ratia. Where due to dense fog, a cruiser car full of passengers fell into the Bhakra canal.

Car fell into the canal

According to the information, some people of village Mahmada had gone to attend a program in Punjab. They were returning in a cruiser car at around 10 pm. When their car was coming towards Sardare Wala via village Khai of Ratia, the car went out of control and fell into the canal due to dense fog on the bridge of Bhakra Canal.

Ten people still missing

The driver jumped just before the car fell into the canal, which saved his life. However, 12 other people in the car fell into the canal. Out of which 10 are missing. They have not been traced yet. As soon as the news of the accident was received, there was a stir in the village.

A large number of villagers reached the spot and informed the police about the matter. The police team also reached the spot on receiving the information and started the rescue operation with the help of divers.
