I am a devotee of Lord Shiva, can swallow poison… Why did PM Modi say this in Assam?
PM Modi In Assam: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced development projects worth Rs 6.5 thousand crores in Assam. PM addressed a public meeting in Darang, Assam. During this, he targeted Congress. Also said, I am a devotee of Lord Shiva and swallow all the poison. PM Modi said, this is my first visit to Assam after Operation Sindoor. With the blessings of Maa Kamakhya, Operation Sindoor got tremendous success.
He further said, no matter how much abuses are thrown at me, I am a devotee of Lord Shiva; I take out all the poison. But, if someone else is insulted, I will not tolerate it.
I can swallow poison- PM
PM said, just a few days ago we celebrated the birthday of Bharat Ratna Sudhakanth Bhupen Hazarika ji. Yesterday, I got the opportunity to be a part of a very big program organized in his honor. The double engine government of BJP is engaged with full devotion in fulfilling the dream that such great children of Assam and our ancestors had seen for Assam. The PM further said, I know, the entire ecosystem of Congress will attack me today.
