‘I cried after hearing the name’: Pahalgam victim Daughter on ‘Operation Sindoor’

The daughter of Santosh Jagdale, who was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, expressed great happiness over 'Operation Sindoor'. She praised the efforts of the government and the Indian Army to avenge the lives of innocent people in this horrific terror attack.

Asavari said that the name of the operation shows solidarity towards the widows of the victims.

She said, "We received calls from our relatives about Operation Sindoor. I got very emotional on hearing the name of the mission 'Sindoor'.

Asawari further said, ''The loss of husband and father did not go in vain. India has paid real tribute to the victims by carrying out the attack... I thank them for delivering justice within 15 days.''

This action was taken to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack and target the leaders of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET) who plan and carry out terror attacks in India.

Defence Ministry said in its statement

Some time ago, the Indian Armed Forces launched 'Operation Sindoor' by targeting the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, from where terrorist attacks against India were planned and conducted." The statement further said, "Our action was focused, measured, and non-provocative.

No Pakistani military installations were targeted. India showed great restraint in the selection and execution of targets." The news agency quoted sources as saying that the Indian Armed Forces successfully attacked 9 terrorist hideouts using special precision weapons in a coordinated operation.

These include 4 hideouts in Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Sialkot in Pakistan and five in POJK. The operation was conducted jointly by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, involving various assets and troops.
