In a startling revelation, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have accused Hamas members of brutally beating civilians and looting humanitarian aid intended for Gaza residents. Following the conclusion of hostage and prisoner exchanges, the IDF alleged that Hamas, despite facilitating the aid through Israel, prioritized its terrorist objectives over the well-being of the people in Gaza.

A video shared on X by the IDF depicts individuals affiliated with Hamas assaulting civilians, with some seen loading materials into a vehicle. In a statement accompanying the video, the IDF declared, "Hamas members beat civilians and steal the humanitarian aid they received from international organizations—facilitated by Israel. Hamas puts its terrorist goals over Gazans' needs."

The IDF also emphasized the misuse of Al-Mawasi, designated as a humanitarian zone in Gaza to safeguard civilians from the battlefield. However, the IDF claimed that Hamas continually exposes Gazans to danger by placing Gaza in the line of fire, launching rockets from this supposed safe zone that often misfire, putting more lives at risk.

On another front, the IDF accused Hamas terrorists of utilizing a school and a mosque in Beit Hanoun to launch attacks against IDF forces. Sharing the information on X, the IDF stated, "Once again, we see Hamas terrorists abuse civilian infrastructure to fire at IDF forces. This time—an @UNRWA school and a mosque in Beit Hanoun."

According to IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, numerous Hamas members surrendered to troops in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, offering intelligence on the group's operations amid Israel's ground offensive. Hagari reported that the situation on the ground for Hamas operatives is challenging, and there is dissatisfaction with the leadership's disconnect from reality.

Hagari revealed, "The intelligence that emerges from the interrogations creates more targets and aids us in the operational activity." Additionally, the IDF disclosed the discovery of a Hamas tunnel shaft inside a classroom leading to a mosque in Shuja'iyya, condemning the group's use of schools as hideouts for terrorist activities. The post on X read, "Hamas tunnel shaft uncovered INSIDE a classroom that leads to a mosque in the heart of Shuja'iyya. Hamas' abuse of schools has turned children's safe havens into terrorist hideouts."
