Canberra T20I halted due to rain

In terms of head-to-head, Team India has the advantage over Australia. Out of the 32 matches played so far, India has defeated Australia in 20. On the other hand, the Kangaroo team has won only 11, one match was inconclusive.

Australia has not defeated India in a T20 series in its own country since 2012. In such a situation, after Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli, a big responsibility now rests on the shoulders of T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav. In the last five T20 series, the Indian team has lost to Australia only once on Australian soil, in 2008.
