IND vs AUS: First T20I cancelled, India gains two major advantages, Australia 'cries' in the rain
IND vs AUS: The first T20I between India and Australia, played in Canberra, was cancelled due to rain. Rain interrupted play twice, and the second time it did not stop, resulting in the match being cancelled. Batting first, Team India had a strong start. Although Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for 19, captain Suryakumar Yadav and vice-captain Shubman Gill won the hearts of Indian fans with their excellent batting.
The second match of the T20 series will now be held on October 31.

Gill and Surya eased the tension
Shubman Gill scored 37 runs in 20 balls, with a strike rate of 185. Suryakumar Yadav played an innings of 39 runs in 24 balls, hitting two sixes and three fours. Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill were the biggest cause of concern for Team India. Both players were not in good form, but their excellent batting in Canberra has somewhat alleviated Team India's tension.
India-Australia match will now be played on this date
The next match between India and Australia will now be played in Melbourne. This match will be played in Melbourne on October 31. Worryingly, there is a threat of rain in Melbourne as well. Currently, there is a 50% chance of rain in Melbourne, and it may rain during the match. Hopefully, the situation in that match will not be similar to Canberra.

Australian bowlers 'made to cry'
Regarding Australia, the match in Canberra was cancelled due to rain, but the 9.4 overs bowled in the match became a cause of concern for them. In fact, the Australian bowlers conceded 97 runs on the bouncy Canberra pitch. Bowlers like Hazlewood, Bartlett, Nathan Ellis, and Kuhnemann failed to make an impact. Now, the Australian bowlers will have to employ a different strategy in Melbourne.
