IND vs PAK Asia Cup:  Once again the Pakistani cricket team openly surrendered in front of India. After the T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy, the Indian team also performed strongly in the Asia Cup 2025 and defeated Pakistan. In this match played amid heavy uproar and demand for boycott in India, Captain Suryakumar Yadav's Team India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets with the help of strong bowling. With this victory, India confirmed its place in the Super-4 stage. At the same time, Pakistan had to face its third consecutive defeat against India within one and a quarter years.

India thrashed Pakistan, entered Super-4

This Group A match was played between India and Pakistan on Sunday, 14 September at the Dubai International Stadium. In this match, Pakistan decided to bowl first, which surprised everyone. This is because the history of the last 3-4 T20 matches between India and Pakistan on the Dubai ground has been that the team batting first here was defeated. But despite this, Pakistan captain Salman Agha took this decision and it proved fatal for them.

For Pakistan, who lost 8 wickets for just 97 runs, Shaheen Shah Afridi finally scored 33 runs in just 16 balls and took the team to 127 runs. For Team India, Kuldeep took 3 wickets for just 18 runs, while Akshar also took 2 wickets for 18 runs. At the same time, Bumrah took 2 wickets.

After this, it was the turn of the Indian team and Abhishek Sharma hit a four on the very first ball of Shaheen, while he also hit a six on the second ball. After this, in the next over, Shubman Gill (10) hit 2 consecutive fours but Saim Ayub dismissed him. Abhishek (31 runs, 13 balls) then hit a four and a six on Shaheen in the next over as well. But he too was sent back to the pavilion by Ayub in the fourth over. But he had given a fast start, after which captain Suryakumar Yadav along with Tilak Verma comfortably took the team close to victory.

Ayub bowled Tilak on the score of 97 but it was too late for Pakistan. After this, captain Surya and Shivam Dubey together led the team to victory. In the 16th over, Surya hit a brilliant six to give the team victory. The captain scored his highest T20 score against Pakistan and returned unbeaten after scoring 47 runs. With this, Team India also confirmed its place in the Super-4 round.
