Independence Day 2025: The whole country is celebrating Independence Day today. Prime Minister Modi said from the Red Fort that India has decided that it will no longer tolerate nuclear threats.

Prime Minister is addressing the country from Red Fort

On the occasion of Independence Day, Prime Minister Modi said from the Red Fort, "This festival is continuously strengthening the spirit of unity in the country. The tricolor is in every home of India, be it from the desert to the Himalayas or the sea coast or the densely populated areas."

He said "This great festival of independence is a festival of 140 crore resolutions. This festival of independence is a moment of pride of collective achievements. Every heart is filled with enthusiasm. The nation is strengthening the spirit of unity.''

India will not tolerate nuclear threats - PM Modi

The Prime Minister said, ''India has decided, we are not going to tolerate nuclear threats anymore. We will not tolerate blackmailing of anyone.''

PM Modi said, ''Today, I have got the opportunity to salute the brave soldiers of Operation Sindoor from the ramparts of the Red Fort. Our brave soldiers have punished the enemies beyond their imagination.
