9 terrorist camps destroyed in this action

During the press briefing, it was told that 9 terrorist camps were destroyed in this action. The attack was carried out at 1.05 and 1.30 AM. These targets were selected on the basis of reliable intelligence information. It was taken full care that no civilian or army was targeted.

Pakistan did not take any action against terrorists- Foreign Secretary

During the press briefing, the Foreign Secretary said that even after a fortnight of the attack, Pakistan did not take any action against the terrorists. Instead, it kept accusing India. We had received inputs that there could be further attacks on India, so we have taken action under our right to self-defense to oppose them.

Resistance Front TRF claimed responsibility for the terror attack in Pahalgam

A group calling itself Resistance Front TRF claimed responsibility for the 22 April attack in Pahalgam. This group is linked to the UN-banned Pakistani terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said

Vikram Misri said, the purpose of this attack was to make this state backward by stopping development and progress and to help keep it fertile for Pakistan across the border.
