India digital strike on Pakistan, banned venomous YouTube channels, Dawn, ARY closed, see list

India has banned 16 major YouTube channels of Pakistan, including Dawn News and Geo News.

India Ban Pakistani Channel: India has again hit hard on Pakistan's anti-India propaganda. The government banned many Pakistani YouTube channels, which were spreading lies and hatred against India. According to sources, on the recommendation of the Home Ministry, the Indian government has banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels, including big names like Dawn News, Sama TV, ARY News and Geo News.

YouTube Channels Blocked By India Post Pahalgam Terror Attack

These channels are accused of spreading inflammatory, communal and false things against India, its army and security agencies after the Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier, India had also given a strong message by banning the official X account of the Government of Pakistan.

Which channels were banned?

While the banned channels also include major media houses of Pakistan. Dawn News, Irshad Bhatti, Sama TV, ARY News, Bol News, Raftar, The Pakistan Reference, Geo News, Sama Sports, GNN, Uzair Cricket, Umar Cheema Exclusive, Asma Shirazi, Munib Farooq, Suno News HD and Raji Nama are included. In this you can see that cricket related channels have also been banned. Many times, instead of talking about the game, they used to spew venom against India.

Anger increased after Pahalgam attack

The Hindu massacre in Pahalgam on 22 April shook the whole country. 26 people were killed in this attack. India called it a part of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. After the attack, anger erupted across the country, and protests started. The government took immediate action and not only suspended the Indus Water Treaty but also canceled the visas of Pakistani citizens.
