India 'Operation Sindoor' in retaliation for Pahalgam, air strike on terrorist bases in Pakistan

Indian Army Operation Sindoor: The Indian Army has responded to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, from Pakistan with Operation Sindoor. The army attacked 9 terrorist bases at different places in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, which was successful. The nine bases targeted include the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur and the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke.

Both of these are in Punjab, Pakistan. Muridke, located a short distance from Lahore, is a huge 'Markaz' i.e. Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) base and Bahawalpur is the main stronghold of Jaish-e-Mohammed.

After this attack, the Indian Army wrote on the X - Justice was done, Jai Hind. Pakistan's Prime Minister called this attack an act of war and said that his country has the right to give a befitting reply. Our armed forces know how to respond.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' on Operation Sindoor while UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed Operation Sindoor with 'Jai Hind' and 'Jai Hind ki Sena'.

Schools and colleges closed in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir

After Operation Sindoor, schools and colleges have been closed in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Schools and colleges have been closed for today in areas like Kupwara, Baramulla and Gurez.
