India-Pakistan Conflict: Tension continues between India and Pakistan. On the one hand, the Parliament meeting is going on in Pakistan, while on the other hand, the Union Home Ministry (MHA) in India took a big step on Monday, April 5, 2025 and issued instructions to many states of the country to conduct mock drills for the safety of citizens. In the instructions issued by the Home Ministry, it was said that the states will organize mock drills for effective civil security on May 7, 2025 so that the safety of the people can be ensured in any emergency.
Amid this, the following measures will be taken.

Training to citizens, students etc. on civil security aspects to protect themselves in case of hostile attack.
Provision of crash black out measures.
Provision of timely concealment of critical plants/installations
Updating and rehearsal of evacuation plan
Similar scene was seen in 1971
The timing of the central government's order is very important. The last time such an exercise was conducted was in 1971, the year when India and Pakistan fought a two-front war.

Lights are switched off in the cantonment area in Punjab's Ferozepur from 9 pm last night.
