India vs Australia 3rd ODI: The third and final match of the ODI series between India and Australia took place on Saturday (October 25) at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Sydney. The Indian team won this match by 9 wickets. Australia set a target of 237 runs for India, which they achieved in 38.3 overs. Rohit Sharma remained unbeaten on 121 and Virat Kohli on 74.

India's impressive win in the Sydney ODI
It should be noted that the Indian team lost the first ODI of the series in Perth by 7 wickets under the DLS rule. In the Adelaide ODI, they were defeated by the hosts by 2 wickets. India now denied Australia a clean sweep by winning the Sydney ODI. Australia won the series 2-1.

Rohit scored an unbeaten 121 off 125 balls, studded with 13 fours and three sixes. This was Rohit's 33rd ODI century. Kohli contributed an unbeaten 74 off 81 balls, studded with seven fours. This was Kohli's 75th fifty of his ODI career.
Australia's innings:
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, the Australian team scored 236 runs in 46.4 overs. The Australian team had a good start. Travis Head and captain Mitchell Marsh added 61 runs for the first wicket. Mohammed Siraj broke the partnership by dismissing Head (29 runs). Axar Patel then bowled Marsh (41 runs). Washington Sundar then dismissed the in-form Matthew Short (30 runs). From there, Alex Carey and Matthew Renshaw shared a 59-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Carey fell to Harshit Rana for 24 runs.

Prasidh Krishna then dismissed Nathan Ellis (16 runs), while Harshit Rana took the last two wickets. Harshit took a total of four wickets in this match. Washington Sundar also took two wickets.
