India vs Pakistan, Hong Kong Sixes 2025: India defeated Pakistan in the most exciting Hong Kong Sixes match. Pakistan could have won this match, but rain fell in Mong Kok, and India won by 2 runs using the Duckworth-Lewis method. Chasing a target of 87, Pakistan was batting well. They scored 41 runs for one wicket in three overs, but play was halted due to heavy rain. The match could not resume, and the result was decided using the Duckworth-Lewis method. According to this method, Pakistan was 2 runs behind India, and therefore lost.

Robin Uthappa performed well

Indian captain Dinesh Karthik lost the toss, and Pakistan invited India to bat first. India managed only 86 runs in the allotted six overs. Robin Uthappa top-scored for India with 28 runs. He hit three sixes and two fours in 11 balls. Bharat Chipli scored 24 runs in 13 balls, hitting two sixes and two fours. Dinesh Karthik also made an unbeaten 17 runs in 6 balls, hitting one six and two fours.

Stuart Binny's over made the difference

Stuart Binny failed with the bat, but he performed brilliantly with the ball. The right-arm medium pacer bowled his second over, taking one wicket for just seven runs. He took the wicket of Maz Sadaqat in this over. This over kept Pakistan's score two runs behind India after the rain, and ultimately India won.

Performance of Pakistani Bowlers

Pakistan's most successful bowler was Mohammad Shahzad, who took two wickets for 15 runs in one over. Abdul Samad took one wicket for 16 runs. Shahid Aziz conceded 13 runs in one over. Left-arm spinner Maz Sadaqat conceded just 19 runs in two overs.
