Abu Qatal was the mastermind of the Reasi attack

Talking about Abu Qatal, on June 9, he attacked a bus full of pilgrims returning from Shiv-Khodi temple in Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, Abu Qatal is also considered the mastermind of many major attacks in Kashmir.

The NIA had held Abu Qatal responsible for the 2023 Rajouri attack.

On January 1, 2023, there was a terrorist attack in Dhangri village of Rajouri district. The next day there was an IED blast. In these attacks, seven people including two children were killed and many were seriously injured.

In this case, three Pakistani terrorists were also among the five people against whom the NIA filed a chargesheet.

Against which terrorists did the NIA file a chargesheet?

In its chargesheet, the NIA named three Lashkar terrorists as the masterminds of this attack. They were identified as Saifullah alias Sajid Jatt, Mohammad Qasim and Abu Qatal alias Qatal Singhi.

Summary

Abu Qatal and Sajid Jatt were Pakistani citizens, while Qasim had gone to Pakistan around 2002 and joined the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba there.
