Deployment of T-72 on LoC
According to a senior officer, T-72 is an integral part of the army. It is equipped with 125 mm guns and missile capability of up to 4,000 metres. They were brought in as part of the joint force deployment.
According to the official, the T-72 along with BMP-2 armoured vehicles have been deployed along the Line of Control to seal infiltration routes, which underlines the constant readiness.
