Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi spoke to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Thursday.

During this, Araqchi said that he does not trust America's intentions but will still talk.

The first talks between the US and Iran took place in Oman on April 12. It was mediated by Oman's Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi. This was the first official conversation between the two countries on the nuclear deal after a decade.

Trump has warned Iran to give up its nuclear program

President Donald Trump has threatened Iran to face consequences if it does not give up its nuclear program. According to White House press secretary Caroline Levitt, Trump's priority is that Iran should never be able to acquire nuclear weapons.

During a press briefing last week, Levitt said that President Trump has already made it clear that all options are open in this matter. Iran has two options - either agree to Trump's demands or be ready to face serious consequences. This is Trump's firm sentiment on this issue.

Trump gives Iran 60 days' time

According to media report, Trump has given Iran 60 days to agree on a new nuclear deal, otherwise he has warned of military action. This warning was sent to Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei through a letter.

This letter clearly stated that Tehran will have to be ready for talks with Washington, even if this conversation is direct. Otherwise, such consequences will have to be faced which can endanger the stability of the Iranian government.

US has threatened to bomb Iran

Earlier on March 30, Trump had threatened Iran that if it does not reach an agreement on its nuclear program, then America can bomb it. Trump also threatened to impose secondary tariffs on Iran.

Iran has enough uranium to make 6 nuclear bombs

After Trump canceled the nuclear deal with Iran in 2018, Iran's bomb-making capacity has increased. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran has made 275 kg of uranium of 60% purity. This is enough to make six nuclear bombs.

If there is no agreement between America and Iran, then by the end of this year, America or Israel or both can decide to bomb Iran's nuclear sites. US, Israeli and Arab sources say Trump will continue the negotiation process for a few months.

Trump warns Netanyahu not to mess things up

An Israeli source told The Economist that Trump has warned Netanyahu not to mess up the negotiations on the US-Iran nuclear deal, which Israel retaliated to an Iranian missile attack in October that destroyed its air defence network.

An Israeli military official said Iran is very vulnerable at the moment. Netanyahu was previously reluctant to order an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. Now he has no reason to back down, except for Trump.

1953 - Coup:  This was the year when the enmity between America and Iran started. American intelligence agency CIA along with Britain organized a coup in Iran. Elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadeq was removed, and power was given to Shah Reza Pahlavi of Iran. The main reason for this was oil. Mossadeq wanted to nationalize the oil industry.

1979 - Iranian Revolution: A new leader emerged in Iran - Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. Khomeini was strongly against westernization and Iran's dependence on America. Shah Pahlavi was his target. Discontent began to grow in Iran under Khomeini's leadership. Shah had to leave Iran. Khomeini returned from exile on 1 February 1979.

1979-81 - Embassy crisis: Diplomatic relations between Iran and America had ended. Iranian students took over the American embassy in Tehran. 52 American citizens were held hostage for 444 days. In 2012, a Hollywood film- Argo was released on this subject. Meanwhile, Iraq attacked Iran with the help of America. The war lasted for eight years.

2015 - Nuclear deal: During Obama's tenure as US President, relations between the two countries started improving a bit. A nuclear deal was signed with Iran, in which Iran agreed to limit its nuclear program. In return, the economic sanctions imposed on it were relaxed a little, but Trump cancelled this deal after becoming President. Enmity started again.
