IRCTC Hotel Scam: Hearing was held in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court today, in the IRCTC hotel scam. The court will pronounce its verdict on August 7 on framing of charges in the scam. Earlier, on May 29, the Rouse Avenue court had reserved the decision after the hearing.

CBI's Additional Director, Rakesh Asthana had told that when Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister, the railway's BNR hotels in Puri and Ranchi were transferred to IRCTC. There was a plan to lease them for maintenance and improvement.

On July 17, 2017, CBI had lodged an FIR against 5 people including Lalu. Raids were conducted at 12 locations of Vinay Kochhar and other accused.
