Israel attack Islamic University in Gaza City
On October 11, Wednesday, Israeli fighter jets targeted Islamic University of Gaza city as reported by AFP. Ahmed Orabi, connected with the university said "The intense air strikes destroyed completely some buildings of the Islamic University."
"No one can enter it due to the fires, and the rocks and rubble scattered on the roads surrounding the university," he said.
The israel defense forces took to twitter to say that the forces has targetted the Islamic University Hamas transformed an institute of knowledge into an institute of destruction. A short while ago, the IDF struck an important Hamas operational, political and military center in Gaza—the Islamic University. Hamas transformed a university into a training camp for weapons development and military intelligence.
Israel has been carrying widespread airstrikes into Gaza Strip since October 8.
On October 10 IDF posted on twitter "Dozens of Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck over 200 targets in the Al-Furqan neighborhood—a terrorist hotspot from which Hamas devises and executes their attacks. This is the 3rd counterstrike in the area during the last 24 hours, in which 450 targets were struck."
