Israeli Airstrikes killed family of Al Jazeera's Journalist in Gaza
In a tragic incident on October 24, Tuesday, a journalist Wael al-Dahdouh from Al Jazeera lost his immediate family members in an Israeli strike carried out in Gaza.
The journalist Wael-al-Dahdouh fled northern Gaza after the Israeli military warned people to leave northern Gaza and move southward as it was going to launch severe air strikes on the area.
The journalist, serving as the bureau chief of Al Jazeera in Gaza lost his family members in the refugee camp Nuseirat, in central Gaza after they left their home in the northern territory.

What Did Al Jazeera said?
Al Jazeera strongly condemned the attack by Israeli forces " Media network condemns ‘indiscriminate assault’ by Israeli forces".
According to Al Jazeera, Wael-al-Dahdouh lost his wife, son, daughter, and grandson in the air strike. The media company has also strongly condemned Israel's attack and has expressed deep concern about the safety of its staff in Gaza.
The media network has also blamed the Israeli authorities calling the attack an "indiscriminate assault". The official statement read "The Network strongly condemns the indiscriminate targeting and killing of innocent civilians in Gaza, which has led to the loss of Wael Al-Dahdouh’s family and countless others."
It further urged the international community to intervene and stop the attacks on civilians.
According to Palestinian health authorities, 21 other people also lost their lives in the same strike.
While talking about the Israeli shelling that killed the Al Jazeera journalist's family, Tamer Almisshal, an Arabic Presenter from the same network said “His voice will go on – that we can guarantee. All our voices will go on, and we’ll continue to cover this assault to get the truth out every day.”
The Israel-Hamas war has resulted in the loss of 22 journalists to date.

Tuesday Attacks
The Tuesday attacks by Israeli defense forces killed more than 700 civilians including around 300 children, 173 women, and 75 elderly.
Israeli Defense Forces asked Gazans to leave north Gaza and move to the south as Israel was planning to intensify strikes.
The IDF confirmed that it launched 400 strikes on Tuesday killing many Hamas militants, and commanders.
IDF took to X and gave out the information "In a wide-scale operation to dismantle Hamas' terrorist capabilities, the IDF struck over 400 terrorist targets in the past 24hrs: Hamas gunmen setting up to fire rockets toward Israel. A Hamas operational tunnel shaft allows terrorists to infiltrate Israel through the sea. Hamas command centers are used by operatives and staging armaments in Mosques. The IDF will continue operating in order to ensure the safety of innocent civilians."
Israeli on October 24, Israeli aircraft dropped leaflets in Gaza asking civilians to help Israel locate Hamas Militants. The leaflet read "If your will is to live in peace and to have a better future for your children, do the humanitarian deed immediately and share verified and valuable information about hostages being held in your area. The Israeli military assures you that it will invest maximum effort in providing security for you and your home, and you will receive a financial reward."
The October 7 attack by Hamas on Israel killed 1400 Israeli citizens. The war has killed more than 6000 people in Gaza till now as the war still continues.
