Israel's IDF killed a Hamas Commander in Air Strike
The official X (former Twitter) account of Israeli Defense Forces announced that they took down Asem Abu Rakaba, the head of Hamas' Ariel Array.
The same post also stated that Rakaba participated in planning the October 7 attack and also commanded the terrorists who infiltrated Israel on Paragliders.
Since Asem Abu Rakaba was in-charge for Hamas' UAV, drones , paragliders and aerial detection and defense, he was also responsible for the drone attacks on Israel.
On October 27, Friday, another Hamas Commander was taken down by IDF. Madarth Mubashar who was the Commander of Hamas' Western Khan Yonis Battalion was killed by the air strike carried out by IDF.
Apart from this, IDF also took down 3 other Hamas operatives who were said to have stake in the October 7 invasion. These were Ibrahim Jadha, Riffat Abbas and Tarek Maarouf.

Electricity cut in Gaza
As a result of heavy bombardment in Gaza, electricity is cut from the northern part and communication networks have collapsed since phone services are also out of reach.
According to media reports, the Gazans were living in blackout for about 12 hours since Friday night as Israeli forces increased bombardment in the enclave.
Rear Admiral Daniel Hagri, IDF spokesperson said that the forces are still in the field and continuing the war. He also added that Israel will allow the trucks carrying food, water and medicines to enter the strip. This statement also indicates that Israel could pause the bombings for a short period to allow the aid to entre.
The spokesperson on Friday said that israeli forces were to increase ground operation along with air strikes on tunnels dug out by Hamas used as hideouts.
The military said "Overnight, IDF fighter jets struck 150 underground targets in the northern Gaza Strip, including terror tunnels, underground combat spaces and additional underground infrastructure. Furthermore, several Hamas terrorists were killed."
On the other side, Hamas is also ready to counter the actions by Israeli forces. The armed wing of Hamas, Al-Qassam brigades said "Al-Qassam Brigades and all Palestinian resistance forces are fully prepared to confront the aggression with full force and thwart the incursions."
