Jammu Kashmir Elections: 10% voting till 9 am, voting continues on 26 seats
J&K Election: In the second phase of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, 10.22 percent voting has taken place till 9 am. There are long queues outside the polling stations. It is expected that the voter turnout will be good in this phase as well. While 93 candidates are trying their luck in Srinagar district, 46 candidates in Budgam, 34 in Rajouri district, 25 in Poonch district, 21 in Ganderbal and 20 in Reasi.
Farooq and Omar Abdullah cast their votes
Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Farooq Abdullah and his son, Omar Abdullah arrived at a polling station in Srinagar to cast their vote in the second phase of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections.Though Omar Abdullah is the party's candidate from Budgam and Ganderbal.
New record of voting will be made in J&K - Gajendra Shekhawat
The Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, "The voting ratio in the first phase of Valley elections was more than 60%. A new record is likely to be made today. I can say with full confidence that we will form the government here.

Delegations from many countries
All though delegation of diplomats from various countries reached a polling station in Budgam area to watch the voting process for the Jammu and Kashmir.
Voting is being held today on 26 seats in 6 districts of the Union Territory.
Jammu and Kashmir 2024 Assembly elections, till 9.00 am, the highest voting took place in Poonch and the lowest votes were cast in Srinagar.
Budgam -- 10.91%
Ganderbal -- 12.61%
Poonch -- 14.41%
Rajouri -- 12.71%
Reasi -- 13.37%
Srinagar -- 4.70%
