J&K: Encounter between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam, operation underway
J&K: Encounter between security forces and terrorists is going on in Kulgam district of South Kashmir. A joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army and CRPF is involved in the operation. A cordon and search operation was started after receiving information about the presence of terrorists.
An encounter is going on between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam district of South Kashmir. Meanwhile a team of J&K local Police, Army and CRPF is carrying out this operation. Officials say that the encounter is going on and further information will be shared.

Let us tell you that the security forces had received input about the presence of terrorists in the area. A search operation was started by cordoning off the area. During this, seeing themselves surrounded, the terrorists started firing. The encounter started with retaliation. Officials said that this encounter is going on between security forces and terrorists in Akhal forest area of Devsar in the district.
Three terrorists eliminated in Operation Mahadev
Security forces are continuously running operations to eliminate terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, the security forces had achieved great success in this. By running Operation Mahadev, the security forces eliminated the terrorists who attacked Pahalgam. 3 terrorists were killed in this operation. Hashim Musa, the mastermind of the Pahalgam attack, was also involved in it.
Two terrorists eliminated in Operation Shivshakti
After this, the security forces launched Operation Shivshakti. In this operation two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist were killed in Poonch. Along with this, the security forces caught an aide of the terrorists in Nagrota with three pistols.The Operation Shivshakti was launched two days back in the Dewagar sector of in Jammu region.
In this, two terrorists trying to infiltrate were killed by the security forces. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists. Talking about the success achieved by the security forces in Nagrota, an aide of the terrorists was arrested from the area with three pistols.
Ajaan Hameed Ghazi was arrested
While Ajaan Hameed Ghazi, who is a resident of Srinagar. He was going from Jammu to Kashmir in his car. When the police stopped him at the Nagrota check post and searched him, three Turkish and Chinese made pistols were recovered from him. He had hidden these weapons under the seat next to the driver.
