Mumbai's Powai area was thrown into a panic when news emerged of 15 to 20 children being held hostage. A man named Rohit carried out the sensational kidnapping in broad daylight at RA Studio in Powai.

Several children were held hostage on the first floor of RA Studio, where acting classes are held. The children were seen peeping out through the glass. Police arrived at the scene and rescued the children safely. Rohit has been detained and is being questioned.

The person who held the children hostage is said to be Rohit. Rohit works at the same studio and also runs a YouTube channel. He had been conducting auditions there for the past four or five days.

Regarding the situation, Mumbai Police said, "All the children have been safely rescued from the scene. A man named Rohit Arya has been detained. Police are speaking with him and trying to determine why he took such a step and whether he is truly mentally unstable."
