Legendary Telegu Film Maker Dies at 92
Another loss to the Indian Film industry… Veteran filmmaker Kasinadhuni Viswanath — popularly known as Kalatapasvi — died at night on Thursday. He was 92. He was undergoing treatment for age-related illnesses at a private hospital in Hyderabad.

He was born in Andhra Pradesh on February 19, 1930.
Viswanath is acredited with having directed several award-winning films, including ‘Sankarabharanam’, ‘Sagara Sangamam’, ‘Saptapadi’, ‘Kaamchor’ and ‘Sanjog’.

He was also active in Tamil and Hindi cinema.
Kasinadhuni Viswanath also acted during his six-decades long career. He directed and acted in ‘Swarabhishekam’, a 2004 Telugu film.
