Ingredients for making 1 kg of Chyawanprash
Amla (Indian gooseberry) 1 kg
Ghee (200 grams)
Honey (250 grams)
Jaggery or sugar (500 grams)
Spice mix (herbs)
Pipli (long pepper) 5 grams
Cinnamon (cinnamon) 5 grams
Cardamom (green) 5 grams
Bay leaves (23%)
Nagkesar (serpent saffron) 2 grams
Mulethi (liquorice) 10 grams
Ashwagandha (ashwara) 10 grams
Shatavari (asparagus) 10 grams
Vidarikand (Indian gooseberry) 10 grams
Cloves (23%)
Black pepper (black pepper) 5 grams
Dried ginger (dry ginger) 5 grams
Sesame oil (1 teaspoon)
Method of preparation
Step 1: Making Amla Paste
First, wash and dry the Amla. Bring water to a boil in a pan, remove the seeds and grind the pulp into a paste. Pour some ghee into a pan and fry the amla paste over low heat. When the color darkens and the ghee begins to separate, turn off the heat.
Adding the Herbs
Mix all the herbs and grind them. Then add 1 teaspoon of sesame oil and the remaining ghee, stirring constantly over low heat. When the mixture becomes thick, fragrant, and sticky, turn off the heat. When the mixture cools completely, add honey. Mix thoroughly and store in a glass bottle.

How to consume Chyawanprash?
Consuming Chyawanprash during winter is extremely beneficial. People of all ages can consume it. Adults should take 1 to 2 teaspoons in the morning on an empty stomach or with milk. Children should take 1/2 teaspoon with milk or lukewarm water.
