Maruti Suzuki and Audi are giving support services due to cyclone in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh
Automobile giants Maruti Suzuki India, Mahindra & Mahindra, and high-end vehicle manufacturer Audi have shown their support for customers impacted by floods and cyclones in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh on December 6.
As per a statement, Maruti Suzuki India has coordinated with its dealer partners and implemented various measures at its workshops.
7 Lakh SMS Alerts were sent to the customers
The company promptly sent out 7 lakh SMS alerts to its clientele as soon as word of the cyclone 'Michaung' was received. The statement added that even before the cyclone's arrival, customers could take preventative measures to shield their vehicles from possible harm.
Mahindra & Mahindra offering free assistance to their customers
Mahindra & Mahindra has offered free roadside assistance, cost-free inspections and damage assessments, as well as financial relief in the form of exclusive discounts, to its clients in the impacted areas.
Audi announced 24 hour support service
With Cyclone Michaung still causing flooding in Chennai, Audi has announced free 24-hour roadside assistance. The India Meteorological Department announced on Monday that cyclonic storm "Michaung" has intensified into a severe cyclone.

Cyclone Michaung's heavy rainfall on Monday severely waterlogged several areas of Chennai. Flooding occurred in a number of low-lying areas, including hospitals and numerous residential areas, even as workers from civic agencies cleared the flooded water.
