Massive fire in Factory in Punjab's Mohali kills 6 women
In tragic incident in Kurali area of Mohali, a massive fire broke out in the chemical factory. As per reports, at least 6 women have succumbed to their injuries. Several others have been severely or moderately burnt.
All the 6 females were rushed to the nearby hospital. These 6 women were working in the factory when the incident took place.
The fire broke out on the morning of September 27 , Wednesday. The massive fire caused the emergency services to rush to the site. After receiving the information the fire services rushed to site.
The fire was so huge that, approximately 24 fire tenders have to reach at the site to control it. Fire tenders from the nearby districts of Mohali and Ropar reached the place to control the fire.
The chemical factory was set up in the industrial area of Mohali. The fire caused large amount of smoke which covered the sky above with black smoke.
The cause of fire is still unknown.
