Mitchell Starc fires in Shield return ahead of Ashes
Mitchell Starc Bowling: The Ashes between Australia and England begin on November 21st. However, before that, all the Australian players selected for that series are playing in the domestic tournament, the Sheffield Shield. Mitchell Starc is one of them, whose havoc was seen in the Victoria vs. New South Wales match that began on November 10th. In this match, Mitchell Starc, playing for New South Wales, was seen firing against the Victorian batsmen. Some were injured on their toes, others on their hands.
Starc injured some with his yorkers, while others were injured by his short balls. He also managed to take wickets while doing so.

Victoria won the toss against New South Wales and decided to bat first. However, Mitchell Starc made this decision unwise. Victoria's openers had only added 29 runs to the scoreboard when Starc struck the first blow. Starc dismissed Harry Dixon with his famously accurate yorker. Starc's yorker landed squarely on Dixon's toe, resulting in him being LBW, and he was also caught off guard. Videos of Starc's fiery bowling in the Sheffield Shield have also started circulating on social media.

Starc's short ball injures Campbell's hand
Starc targeted Harry Dixon's toe with a yorker, and then he also injured Victoria's other opener, Campbell Kellaway, with his short balls. And, after injuring him, he finally took his wicket. Starc had Campbell caught by Phillips.

Starc's havoc on Victoria's top order
Mitchell Starc's impact on Victoria's top order was such that he took three of their first four wickets. Overall, Starc appears to be in excellent form ahead of the Ashes. Judging by his fiery bowling in the Sheffield Shield, it's not difficult to imagine how challenging the Ashes will be for England.
