Mokama Murder Case: Intensifying their action in the Mokama murder case, police arrested the main accused and JDU candidate Anant Singh and brought him to Patna late last night. After his arrest, he was directly detained in the DIU cell of the Patna SSP office. Meanwhile, several police teams conducted raids throughout the night, searching for other accused and suspects. More than 80 people have been detained and interrogated, and today, Anant Singh and the three accused will be presented in court.

Police are also monitoring Piyush Priyadarshi, an accused from the other side of the case, and several others.

Based on the scrutiny of video footage of the violence and unrest in Pandarak, the police have identified several individuals. Based on these videos, several individuals have been detained and are being interrogated. Senior officers are monitoring the entire operation. This entire matter has heated up amid the Bihar elections.

The biggest name in this case is that of the powerful former MLA Anant Singh, who has been directly named in the murder case. Police will present Anant Singh, his close associates Manikant Thakur, and Ranjit Ram before a magistrate today. They will currently seek judicial custody, after which they could be sent to jail.
