Mother Dairy increases milk prices by 2 per litre in Delhi-NCR from today

Mother Dairy has decided to increase the price of its milk by up to Rs 2 per liter. This change will be effective from April 30, 2025. The company says that this step has to be taken due to the increase in the cost of buying milk. Due to the onset of summer and heat wave, milk production has been affected.

Due to this, the price of buying milk from farmers has increased. Mother Dairy says that they are taking this decision keeping in mind the interests of both farmers and customers.

Price of milk by up to Rs 2 per liter

A Mother Dairy spokesperson said that Mother Dairy has to increase the price of its milk by up to Rs 2 per liter from April 30, 2025. This change has to be made due to the huge increase in the cost of buying milk, which has increased by Rs 4-5 per liter in the last few months.

 This jump in the price of buying milk has come mainly due to the onset of summer and heat wave.

These states will be affected

The spokesperson further said, 'We are committed to providing consistently good quality milk to consumers while supporting the livelihood of our farmers. This change is just a partial part of the increased cost. It aims to meet the interests of both farmers and consumers equally.'
