MP: Air Force fighter plane crashes in Shivpuri, plane burnt to ashes
MP: An Air Force fighter plane crashed near Bahreta Sani village in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. Both the pilots came out safely before the accident and there is no news of any casualties. In the pictures that have emerged after the accident, it is seen that the pilot is informing his colleagues about the accident by phone. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the local administration immediately sent a team to the spot.
However, the reason for the plane crash has not been known yet. The Air Force's Mirage-2000 trainer aircraft has crashed in the accident. According to initial information, the pilot is said to be safe. In the pictures that have emerged after the accident, it is seen that the pilot is informing his colleagues about the accident by phone.
Pilots came out safely before the accident
Though as per the defense official, the twin-seater Mirage 2000 has met with an accident during a regular training flight. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to find out the causes of the accident. It is being said that the accident happened due to a technical fault in the plane.

Mirage-2000 is a fighter aircraft which has been an important asset of the Indian Air Force and has played an important role in various operations. Officials have reached the accident site. Investigation into the accident is underway.

34 Air Force planes crashed from 2017 to 2022
A recent report of the Standing Committee on Defense has raised concerns over the increasing number of plane crashes in the Indian Air Force. The report revealed that 34 plane crashes occurred during the 13th Defense Plan period (2017-2022). According to the report, 8 planes of the Indian Air Force crashed in 2017-18. While 11 planes crashed in 2018-19. In 2019-20 and 2020-21, the number of accidents decreased to 3 per year, but in 2021-22, 9 planes of the Air Force crashed.
These 34 plane accidents have been categorized in the report. In which it was said that 19 incidents occurred due to human error of the aircraft crew, while 9 accidents occurred due to technical fault.
